ELIZABETH Y. HANSON graduated from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco, California, and much like Maria Montessori, a doctor turned educator, she later applied her understanding of the whole person in medicine to her work in education as well as homeschooling her own children. Largely influenced by John Taylor Gatto, she has developed a unique understanding of raising and educating children that offers a fresh approach to an age-old concern. Since 2001, Elizabeth has worked tirelessly to help parents around the globe discover better ways for raising and educating children.
